Passion for Teaching

Sen has over 10 years of experience teaching Go to both kids and adults.

Beginner I (18K – 10K)

Learn the fundamentals of Go, including basic rules, capturing, territory, and simple tactics like atari and ladders. Develop strong opening habits and practice reading ahead in small tactical positions.

Beginner II (10K – 1D)

Strengthen your fundamentals with deeper strategic thinking. Topics include efficient shape, life and death basics, common joseki, and introduction to middle-game fighting. Improve your reading ability and develop a sense of direction in the game.

Intermediate I (1D – 3D)

Focus on advanced fighting techniques, mid-game positional judgment, and deeper life-and-death problems. Learn how to manage influence vs. territory, improve your endgame accuracy, and refine your approach to whole-board strategy.

Intermediate II (3D – 6D)

Dive into high-level joseki, advanced reading techniques, and precise positional judgment. Analyze professional games, explore AI-influenced strategies, and refine your ability to evaluate complex fights and long-term plans.

Advanced (6D +)

High-level Go training with deep game analysis, advanced whole-board strategy, and refinement of individual weaknesses. Focus on cutting-edge AI-based techniques, high-stakes fighting strategies, and professional-level positional judgment.

Kids Program

A fun and engaging introduction to Go! Learn the basics through interactive activities, simple puzzles, and guided games. Emphasis on creativity, pattern recognition, and enjoying the game while building strong fundamentals.
